ZUMBA Fitness – Ditch the Workout – Join the Party!
Is it a dance party or a fitness class? Yes and Yes!!
A Zumba fitness class has the feel and the energy of the best dance party you have ever been to. Each song gives you a taste of everything from merengue, salsa, flamenco, samba, tango, reggae, cumbia, calypso, cha cha, belly dancing, hip hop and more. The energy is high and time fly’s while you move to the rhythms of the music. Zumba is meant for everyone to enjoy. No experience necessary, all you need is to feel the music and start moving!
Zumba is fun but what are the benefits? Zumba brings on the heat and burns off the calories! You can burn between 500-1000 calories in a Zumba class. The movements integrate the entire body toning arms chest, back, abdominals and legs. Nothing is left out. That’s not all, Zumba is good for balance, co-ordination, for the heart and for the mind. It really chases stress away and works you top to bottom, inside and out.
Come out and experience ZUMBA Live!

Tom Saridis
Founder and CEO of CIBO Clinic
Tom Saridis, Founder and CEO of CIBO Clinic will discuss his life long battle with obesity and how the decision to have an adjustable gastric band procedure changed his life and led to the creation of CIBO Clinic.
This dynamic speaker will inspire you with his candid personal story.
Session Title: How the Adjustable Gastric Band Can Help You Eliminate Dieting Forever.
At his heaviest Tom Saridis was 508 lbs. and with his obesity came problems of depression, and fatigue plus numerous physical and mental limitations.
Dieting had proven unsuccessful so he looked into bariatric options and after extensive research Tom had an adjustable gastric band procedure performed in April 2006. After his procedure, he was able to change his eating habits, his lifestyle and his entire approach to living. The band alone wasn’t the cure for his obesity, but it was the tool he needed to lose 285 pounds and turn his life around.
Passionate about banding and the possibility of helping others with a clinic dedicated to just treating obesity Tom set out to establish the first bariatric centre of excellence in Canada, offering a multidisciplinary approach to weight loss.
In 2006, the CIBO Clinic was opened. As CEO and Founder, Tom has created a clinic that provides bariatric consultations and non-invasive weight loss solutions together with customized programs of fitness, nutrition and psychotherapy for each patient, thus providing an opportunity for others to successfully treat obesity.
